RSV Season

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) can be serious for babies and young children. We have the RSV monocolonal antibody vaccine now available in clinic that can reduce the risk of RSV hospitalization by up to 80-90%. Any infant under age 8 months (whose mother did not receive the maternal RSV vaccine during pregnancy) is eligible. Higher risk children ages 8-19 months entering their 2nd RSV may also be eligible (this eligibility depends on individual circumstances).
