Yass Moinpour MD, FAAP

Dr. Moinpour grew up in Santa Monica and attended UC San Diego for her undergraduate studies in chemistry. She attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she completed her medical degree in 1995. She subsequently completed her pediatric residency at UCLA, Mattel Children’s Hospital in 1998.  Dr. Moinpour is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Since locating to Seattle in 1998, Dr. Moinpour has practiced general pediatrics at Group Health Cooperative and Pacific Medical Centers before joining Renton Pediatric Associates in 2008.

Dr. Moinpour enjoys a wide range of general pediatric care, including preventative care. Her practice philosophy emphasizes evidence-based medicine and a cooperative relationship with her patients and their parents. She takes great joy in watching children grow up healthy.

Dr. Moinpour and her family love to travel and explore new places and cultures.  She also enjoys gardening, cooking, history, and the arts. She plays the piano and is also fluent in Farsi.

Her practice is currently open and accepting new patients. Dr. Moinpour works in our Kent office on Mondays and our Renton office on Thursdays and Fridays.
